The Visit New Mexico Council has compiled a list of 12 Things You Can Do to Celebrate Native American Culture and Heritage. There are over 1000 years of rich ancestry and traditions to explore. 5 of the 10 Best Native American Experiences (according to USA Today) are right here in New Mexico. So before the craziness of Christmas really sets in, why not take a break from the holiday hubbub and go on a journey back in time to learn about the Native American peoples from this area.
